Airbus has started a drone pilot training program in India in response to the country’s growing demand for competent drone operators. The five-day program will be held at the Airbus Training Centre in Bengaluru and is certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The program will address theoretical as well as practical aspects of drone piloting. Drone rules, basic flight principles, ATC procedures, maintenance, operations, and aerodynamics will be among the theoretical topics covered. Simulator training and flying instruction will be provided at an Airbus-approved facility in Bengaluru.
Students who successfully finish the program will receive an Airbus certificate. Candidates must have completed Class 10 and be between the ages of 18 and 65 to be eligible for the program.
How to Apply for the Airbus Drone Pilot Training Program
If you want to apply for this training program, then you have to must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have completed Class 10
- Have a valid passport
- Be able to speak and understand English
To apply for the program, students can visit the Airbus website and complete the online application form. The application deadline is July 31, 2023.
